Chef Tharveskhan (aka Chef Khan) 15 years of association with the hotel and restaurant industry comes with ever shining enthusiasm and motivation. Khan believes that it all started from the first time he stepped into his mother’s kitchen, he remembers being fascinated by the smell and aromas which used to come from the kitchen.
Khan started his career journey from Chennai, India. After graduating from Madras University, Khan trained and worked at the luxury Taj Group of Hotels in India, which gave him exposure to the fine dining standards. Over the years, Khan built his knowledge and experience in different cooking styles ranging from pantry to pan.
He then ventured to come to London where he began his journey at Calcutta Brasserie. Khan then moved on to work in a Michelin Star restaurant Tamarind Mayfair, London. Over last 8 years Khan has been successful in achieving high standards and elevating Indian food in UK to a different level. Taking inspiration from his native India, while continuously researching regional dishes, Khan has managed to combine his heritage with his love of British ingredients to create a unique and innovative modern Indian cuisine.
